A confrontation inside an Ohio Boost Mobile store took a tense turn when an employee moved close to a customer who repeatedly told her not to touch him.
The woman then suddenly screamed, “RAPE!” at the top of her lungs in a video posted on Instagram documenting the encounter.
Referring to the employee as a “goofy a–,” the man, who goes by the handle “bigpaid4eva,” tells her, “Don’t touch me.”

When she refuses to back away, he warns, “Touch me again…” The woman’s reaction appears to catch him off guard before she smirks.
The employee screamed so loudly that a woman who worked at a neighboring business said she could hear her through the walls.
In a November 5 Facebook post, Melisa Ann, who tagged her post in Heath, Ohio, wrote, “Go outside with my employee to find 4 individuals trying to pay phone bill n she is screaming rape.” She then asked whether police could charge the woman for yelling.

The location of the incident has not been independently verified.
“Bigpaid4eva” appeared shocked and shook his head as he reminded the employee that he was recording the interaction.
“Who you gonna tell, my owner?” she snapped back, adding that her employers were not going to fire her.
A second man off camera interjected, “You gonna get yourself fired, b*tch.”
The video has racked up nearly 300,000 views in less than 24 hours, with hundreds of people tagging Boost Mobile in the comments. The company has not issued a public statement about the incident, and it’s unclear whether the woman still works there.
Online commentators expressed shock and sadness over the incident, connecting it to Jim Crow-era history when false accusations by white women frequently targeted Black men.
Many referenced Emmett Till, the 14-year-old Black boy a white mob lynched in Mississippi in 1955 after a white woman falsely accused him of making advances toward her.
Although the circumstances are vastly different, Till’s case remains a painful reminder of the dangers Black men have historically faced when accused of sexual misconduct by white women.
One commenter called for the employee to face criminal consequences, writing, “Oh, hell no. She needs a jail cell. That’s not a damn joke.”
Another person raised concerns about what might happen without video evidence, writing, “…imagine what she would do in a situation of ‘he say, she say.’”
