The fall TV lineup is bringing the same energy as the weather: very dramatic. Our favorite streaming networks are serving up plenty of drama-filled shows to keep you entertained and your group chats buzzing.

From Tom Hardy’s phenomenal performance in “MobLand” to Sylvester Stallone’s hit dramedy “Tulsa King,” there’s no shortage of entertainment to add to your watchlist. Whatever you choose, there’s something worth watching. Be sure to bookmark and share with your favorite people.

“MobLand”

“MobLand,” the high-intensity British crime drama series, is centered on a violent conflict between London’s top crime families. Tom Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, the Harrigans’ street-smart fixer, caught between a spreading gang war, police pressure, and dangerous betrayals within the family. Just two seasons in, the show’s intensity is captivating.

“WAR”

Divorce can be a messy battle, and the new HBO drama, “WAR,” proves it. This legal drama unfolds among London’s elite law firms, where two rivals battle over a sensational divorce between tech mogul Morgan Henderson (Dominic West) and film star Carl Duval (Sienna Miller). The whole season turns their marriage’s fallout into a corporate and reputational fight, influenced by betrayal, greed, and ruthless maneuvering.

“Lupin Part 4”

The jewel heist mastermind is back! While Assane Diop serves his prison sentence, he works to leave his Lupin identity behind and reunite with his family in Senegal. Those hopes come crashing down when a mysterious figure uses the Lupin name and begins carrying out simultaneous museum heists, leaving evidence that implicates Diop, including footage placing him at the robbery. To prove his innocence and expose the copycat, Diop must escape prison and show proof of the real Lupin.

“Phony”

Hulu’s “Phony” is one of those dramas that has social media buzzing. The mystery centers on Sonny Cooke, a teenager who wakes up after a car accident convinced that his mother, Ellen, had been replaced by an impostor. With no one noticing the change, Sonny begins investigating the fraud in his home while trying to prove he isn’t crazy. The show takes viewers on twisted turns about whether Ellen is a fraud or if Sonny’s perception has been altered by the accident.

“Couple’s Therapy”

“Couple’s Therapy” is an intimate docuseries that follows real couples through weekly sessions with psychoanalyst Dr. Orna Guralnik, as she manages their conflict, vulnerabilities, and breakthroughs that usually remain private.

“Reasonable Doubt”

“Reasonable Doubt” returns for its fourth season, and it is intense. L.A. defense attorney Jax Stewart is on a recovery journey from a shooting that leaves her family and newly opened Stewart Firm nervous. While the firm takes on a high-profile case involving R&B artist Eric Cropper and his messy divorce from his wife, Brooke, Stewart is forced to confront the physical and emotional aftermath of the attack, including her dependence on painkillers.

“The Gilded Age”

Who would have imagined that the New York Society in the early 1880s would be so dramatic? HBO’s “The Gilded Age” is centered on the old-money Van Rhijn household and the newly rich Russell family. It explores the clash between established social elites and ambitious industrialists.

Meanwhile, Peggy Scott and other prominent Black elites navigate their own worlds of wealth, influence, social standing, and racial barriers, offering a glimpse into the lives of Black New Yorkers during this transformative era.

“Nocturne”

Apple’s latest crime thriller, “Nocturne,” follows Jonah Lynn, a former soldier-turned homicide detective who moves to rural western Pennsylvania for a quieter life – only to confront a serial killer case that threatens his family and community. When a presumed-dead victim reappears, Jonah and his surrogate daughter, FBI agent Saga Bauer, race to find the last missing victim while Bauer goes undercover near the imprisoned killer, Jurek Walter.

“Matlock”

Inspired by the classic “Matlock” series, CBS’s “Matlock” reboot stars legendary actress Kathy Bates as Madeline “Matty” Matlock, a returned lawyer who rejoins a prestigious firm while concealing a personal mission. Using her manner and sharp legal instincts, she wins cases and investigates corruption related to the opioid crisis and her daughter’s death.

“The Rainmaker”

Based on John Grishman’s 1995 novel, “The Rainmaker” is a legal-drama series that follows rookie lawyer Rudy Baylor after he is fired from his law firm and joins a scrappy personal injury practice. Rudy and his small team take on a wrongful death case involving a hospital, uncovering a broader conspiracy that pits him against his former employer, powerful attorney Leo Drummond, and his ex-girlfriend Sarah.

“The Terminal List”

If you are into military action-thrillers, “The Terminal List” should be in your playlist. The story follows Navy SEAL James Reece, whose platoon is ambushed during a covert mission and his family is murdered. Consumed with greed and a desire for justice, he investigates a conspiracy involving an experimental drug, corporate interests, and corrupt officials.

“Carrie”

Stephen King’s 1974 novel, “Carrie,” is brought to the present day as the story follows Carrie White, a sheltered teenager whose father’s death sends her to a public high school, where she faces bullying, social media cruelty, and the emergence of telekinetic powers. Whatever you do: don’t mess with Carrie.

“Tulsa King”

Starring Sylvester Stallone, “Tulsa King” is a crime dramedy that follows Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mafia capo who completed a 25-year prison sentence. Instead of welcoming him back, his mob family exiles him to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he is expected to establish a new operation. Feeling the heat of betrayal, Manfredi sets out to build his own crew and business with locals while facing rivals and trying to outsmart the police.

“Mayor of Kingstown”

The gritty crime thriller follows Mike McLusky, the unofficial “mayor” of a fictional Michigan town dominated by its prison industry. Mike acts as a fixer and mediator among gangs, inmates, corrections officers, police, and politicians, as he works to preserve peace within a fragile system. Rather than solving crime, the show focuses on the morally compromised work of managing it, as Mike inherits the dangerous family role after tragedy forces him into power.

“FROM”

“From” is one of those shows that keeps the group chats active with think pieces. Season 4 follows the trapped town’s survivors as Boyd fights to keep the community together, while Tabitha, Jade, and Julie uncover more about the town’s mysterious past, its repeating cycle, and the sinister Man in Yellow.
