Delaware State University and HBCU CONNECT, the nation’s largest online network of HBCU students, graduates and professionals, have announced a strategic partnership that will integrate HBCU CONNECT’s career platform into the University’s DSU HUB app, providing students and alumni with direct access to internships, job opportunities, employer recruiting events, career fairs, mentorship and professional development resources.
The DSU HUB app serves as the University’s central mobile platform, connecting students and alumni with campus resources, communications, events and engagement opportunities. The partnership, conceived by Dr. Dawn Mosley, Senior Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications, expands the HUB app by connecting the Delaware State University community with one of the nation’s largest career and professional networks dedicated to HBCUs.
“Our vision is to create a one-stop digital experience that not only connects our campus community to University resources but also opens doors to career advancement, mentorship and economic opportunity,” said Dr. Mosley. “A college degree is only one part of a student’s journey. Our responsibility is to help ensure students graduate with meaningful connections, real-world experiences, and access to opportunities that continue long after commencement. This partnership helps make that possible.”
Founded by Will Moss, HBCU CONNECT has grown into the world’s largest online community dedicated to advancing HBCU students and graduates. With more than 1.2 million members, over 110,000 resumes and partnerships with many of the nation’s leading employers, HBCU CONNECT serves as a premier platform for recruiting, networking and professional growth.

“We are excited to partner with Delaware State University on this innovative initiative,” said Will Moss, CEO of HBCU CONNECT. “Integrating HBCU CONNECT’s resources into the HUB creates a powerful opportunity to connect students and alumni with the careers, employers and professional networks that can help shape their futures.”
The technical integration is being led by Curtis Winslow, Director of Mobile and Web Applications Development, and lead architect of the DSU HUB app.
“Our focus has always been on creating innovative solutions that improve engagement, communication and access to resources,” said Winslow. “This integration expands the HUB’s capabilities by providing students and alumni with direct access to career and professional development resources on a national scale.”
“Our alumni are always looking for ways to grow professionally and stay connected to Delaware State University,” said Tanisha Baker, Senior Director of Alumni Engagement.
“This partnership gives them another way to do both while creating opportunities to mentor students and strengthen the Hornet community.”
The partnership reflects Delaware State University’s continued commitment to innovation, workforce development and student success while strengthening lifelong engagement with alumni. University leaders believe the collaboration can serve as a model for how HBCUs leverage technology and strategic partnerships to expand opportunities for students and graduates nationwide.
“We are grateful to Will Moss and the HBCU CONNECT team for sharing our commitment to expanding opportunity for HBCU students and graduates,” added Dr. Mosley. “Together, we’re building more than a partnership. We’re creating new pathways to careers, mentorship and professional growth while strengthening the connection between higher education and the workforce for our students and alumni.”
