WPLG Local 10 is proud to announce a multi-year broadcast partnership with HBCU GO Sports, the nation’s leading media provider for America’s 107 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Through this agreement, WPLG will become the exclusive South Florida broadcast home for HBCU GO’s live coverage of regular season football and men’s basketball games.
This partnership brings high-quality, culturally significant sports programming to South Florida audiences, showcasing some of the most storied programs and talented athletes in collegiate athletics.

HBCUs have long held a proud legacy in both education and athletics, competing in conferences such as the MEAC, SWAC, SIAC, CIAA, and GCAC. The upcoming 2025–26 season kicks off on August 30 with Hampton University facing off against Jackson State University in a nationally anticipated opener.
