Located 20 minutes from Minneapolis in Chanhassen, MN, Paisley Park was more than just a home for Prince. It was where he wrote, recorded, and even performed. The 65,000 square foot, $10 million estate, which sits on nine acres of land, was completed in 1988 as a place for Prince to live and work away from the chaos of Hollywood and New York City. There’s always something going on at Paisley Park. In August, you’re invited there for music and fun, but before you head to Minnesota or if you can’t attend, we got you.
Just six months after the “Diamonds and Pearls” artist was found dead in this home on April 21, 2016, Prince’s dream of opening Paisley Park to the public came true when it began welcoming fans from all over the world for tours.
Because this massive compound is a place you have to see to believe, check out Prince’s Paisley Park estate for yourself and then head to Minnesota.
